Rigging Info: Rigged with 600lb Multi-strand Stainless Cable, Stainless Thimbals, Double Crimps and 400lb Centro Swivel.
Action: These birds ride upright with a flutter causing a spray and imitating a flying fish getting Airborne. They very rarely Dive due to wing Design.
Fishing Style: They are best fished with a small to medium Lure about 2-4m behind the Bird. We have found that a simple cup faced or bullet style lure to be best. These type of lures run nice and straight and are easy for a fish to catch and eat. They are best fished off the Long Outriggers or Shotgun/Stinger Position. They work well in rough conditions as they help keep the trailing lure in the water.
